The Role:
We’re on the lookout for a Director, Product Security Sales Specialist who will take the reins of our Americas Product Security Sales Specialist team. You’ll report to the Vice President of Global Sales Strategy, and your main mission will be to lead a dynamic group of technical security experts. These specialists play a crucial role in partnering with sales to drive complex, large-scale technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of security subject matter experts, providing the technical support and account management needed for their field accounts and partners.
- Guide your team in designing and integrating Internet information services appliances, including DNS, DHCP, Security, and Network Automation solutions.
- Work on developing and refining the curriculum for our Product Security Sales Specialists to ensure their growth and professional development.
- Collaborate with other members of the Product Security Sales team to design training initiatives that enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Foster strong relationships with enterprise customers and partners, ensuring their needs are met.
- Regularly assess the technical skills and competencies of your sales specialists to keep them at their best.
- Team up with internal sales and engineering units, project management, product development, and operations to craft tailor-made customer solutions.
- Identify, recruit, and retain top talent for a high-performing Product Security Sales Specialist team.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management, including salary planning and necessary technical training.
- Allocate technical resources that ensure our customers achieve optimal outcomes through systems and applications engineering services.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- 10+ years of experience managing Pre-Sales Solutions Architects or a Subject Matter Expert team with enterprise clients.
- 10+ years in Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture, specifically in Security, within the IT Datacenter Infrastructure Networking domain.
- Extensive knowledge of security and cybersecurity technologies across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
- Familiarity with the security vendor landscape and the associated sales strategies.
- Experience with formal sales methodologies (like MEDDIC, Challenger, or WS) to drive growth and reduce risks.
- Strong ability to clearly communicate the advantages of the Infoblox product and service offerings to diverse client stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and cybersecurity technologies, compliance requirements, and risk management.
- A preferred certification background could include CISA, CISSP, ISO27001, CISM, CNE, ITIL, CSP, or CCP.
- Proven experience leading teams in designing target systems security architecture for cloud and hybrid environments.
What Success Looks Like:
In your first six months you will:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio.
- Be able to articulate what sets us apart from competitors.
- Establish regular check-in calls with your team, key internal and external stakeholders, and channel partners.
- Identify skills and resource needs to achieve territory business plans.
- Cultivate a collaborative “partner” relationship with your sales colleagues.
- Ensure the successful rollout of Security Workshops.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and field teams to keep workshop content fresh, relevant, and impactful in driving conversations about change.
- Communicate field feedback to product management regarding customer needs and experiences.
- Equip your team to transition smoothly from Security Workshops to conducting sales and assessments.
- Provide feedback to improve the delivery of Security Assessments.
- Collaborate with the enablement team to make sure your team becomes true subject matter experts equipped to lead high-quality workshops and assessments.
- Coordinate with regional SA leadership to ensure that enablement resources are accessible for your team.
After about a year, you’ll:
- Continuously evaluate team strengths, gaps, and areas for growth.
- Create personalized career development plans for your team members.
- Ensure that enablement efforts are yielding quality outcomes in design, demo capability, objections handling, and lead generation.
- Align team resources optimally with opportunities in your territory.
- Gain the experience and knowledge to influence the evolution of our organization.
