The Role We’re Looking to Fill:

What You’ll Be Doing:
Planning and Instruction:
- Develop culturally responsive lesson plans that capture students’ interests and nurture their learning journey.
- Engage with a diverse classroom and ensure every student feels included.
- Participate in regular coaching sessions and collaborative professional development to enhance your teaching practice.
- Utilize data to tailor your approach, meeting each learner’s unique needs effectively.
- Exhibit deep content knowledge and use engaging teaching practices that drive meaningful student participation.
- If applicable, you may also serve as a Student Advisor, guiding students’ academic and social-emotional development.
- Foster collaborative relationships with co-teachers, embracing various co-teaching models in your classroom.
Creating a Positive Classroom Environment:

- Establish a classroom atmosphere that encourages high expectations, student voice, and expression.
- Create a structured, welcoming, and purposeful learning space for all.

- Use feedback from families and students to continuously refine the learning experience.
- Organize and lead family meetings, including important events like Report Card Night.

Who You Are:
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
- While prior teaching experience is preferred, we value passion and commitment above all.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Compensation:
