Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll provide essential technical, clinical, and sales support as part of a collaborative sales team. You’ll focus on launching and promoting the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) along with our full suite of Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) products. By working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll help shape and implement strategies that drive growth in these innovative technologies.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on clinical and technical support and training for physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
- Ensure that healthcare providers and office staff are well-educated on the technical aspects of CAS products and related procedures.
- Advocate for the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and procedures.
- Align with national, regional, and territory sales objectives to meet or exceed our sales targets across all CAS offerings.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships that lead to new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales leads.
- Team up with your local sales colleagues to provide customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
- Foster open communication with regional sales and clinical teams.
- Represent Medtronic CAS effectively to physicians and support staff, showcasing our products and services.
- Act as a regional expert, sharing your insights and expertise to empower others in mastering mapping technology.
Are You a Fit?
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have one of the following:
- A high school diploma and at least 8 years of experience in cardiac mapping and navigation,
- An associate degree with a minimum of 6 years in the same field, or
- A bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in nursing, life sciences, or a technical field along with 4 years of experience in the cardiac sector, whether in a clinic or in sales.
- A demonstrated history of successful technical training.
- Prior experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field or in EP labs, as well as exposure to medical sales.
- Willingness to travel over 75% of the time (you’ll need a valid driver’s license and insurance).
Physical Job Requirements:
This position requires a range of physical activities, including:
- Daily travel within your assigned territory, and on occasion, overnight trips.
- Engaging in physical tasks like moving throughout healthcare facilities and operating office equipment for an average of 8 hours a day.

Compensation:
Salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $140,000. Additional compensation opportunities are available, including a Sales Incentive Plan designed to reward your achievements.
