What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Teaming up with the Controller to ensure a smooth month-end close, leading to the timely preparation of financial statements.
- Digging into our general ledger balances, analyzing variances, and ensuring that our results align with our budgets and forecasts, particularly in our Pharmacy Benefit Manager sector.
- Overseeing daily accounting duties like accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank transactions to ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
- Handling monthly accruals and journal entries with precision.
- Assisting in revenue assessments in accordance with ASC606.
- Utilizing your knowledge of sales and use tax filings (think Avalara or Sovos) to keep us in line.
- Strengthening our internal controls by suggesting improvements.
- Participating in yearly audits to ensure compliance across the board.
- Building collaborative relationships with fellow Rightway team members as we work toward a common goal.
- Thriving in our fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to ever-evolving accounting needs.
Who You Are:
We’re excited to meet someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Has at least 6 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Brings experience from a rapidly expanding startup, particularly within the healthcare tech or PBM sectors.
- Is familiar with Netsuite and can navigate financial reporting, month-end processes, and audit support with ease.
- Possesses sharp analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with an organized and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Is committed to delivering top-notch service and ensuring satisfaction.
- Is highly proficient in Excel and familiar with Gsuite tools.
Competitive Salary:
We offer a salary ranging from $85,000 to $115,000, plus potential bonuses.
