What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll become the go-to person for our customers, using your technical know-how and account management experience to guide them through their MongoDB journey. You’ll also lead our account team, collaborating with Sales, Professional Services, Solutions Architects, and more. Your mission? To make our customers successful and help shape the future of our Customer Success program.
You Might Be the Right Fit If You:
- Have 7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar customer-focused role.
- Are a fierce advocate for your customers, seeing your role as an extension of their team within MongoDB.
- Have a natural curiosity for technology. While we’ll show you the ropes of MongoDB and databases, a desire to learn about technical concepts will go a long way.
- Thrive in an autonomous role, confidently taking ownership of your customer portfolio and making decisions that influence customer outcomes.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to innovate and build new processes that elevate our service to customers.
- Are a team player who enjoys collaboration, working closely with various internal teams to support our strategic growth customers.
- Have some familiarity with database, cloud, and infrastructure technologies—if you don’t, but are eager to learn, we still want to hear from you!
A Day in Your Life:
You’ll wear many hats every day, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to your customers, sharing MongoDB best practices and helping shape their tech strategies. Whether it’s running training sessions or advising on optimizing their setup, you’ll play a pivotal role.
- Gather insights and feedback from customers to inform our internal teams—your voice will be key in helping us enhance our product and approach.
- Act as a bridge between customers and our product engineering team, advocating for their needs while helping to shape our product roadmap.
- Resolve customer issues with finesse, finding solutions that work for both MongoDB and our clients, whether it’s navigating an outage or brainstorming custom solutions.
- Develop and execute plans to mitigate risks and drive growth across your customer portfolio over the next few quarters.
- Lead executive business reviews for strategic customers, working closely with C-suite leaders to align on objectives and ensure mutual success.
- Contribute to building our Customer Success program by creating best practices and mentoring others within the organization.
- Keep track of customer interactions in systems like Gainsight and Salesforce, providing leadership with insights on customer health and engagement signals.
