About Us:
At SecurityScorecard, we take pride in being the go-to name in cybersecurity ratings. With our innovative technology, we’re continuously monitoring over 12 million businesses in 64 countries around the globe. Nestled in the heart of New York City, our team thrives in a vibrant culture that’s earned accolades like “Best Workplace” from Inc. We’re also proud that Fast Company included us in their annual list of standout companies and that Achievers recognized us as a leader in employee engagement in 2023.
The Opportunity:
We’re on the lookout for a sharp, detail-focused Program Manager to join our Product team. This role revolves around orchestrating software delivery plans and ensuring our projects hit their deadlines with top-notch quality. If you’re someone who loves collaborating across teams, identifying needs, clearing obstacles, and driving projects to completion, we’d love to have a chat!
Your role will involve thoughtful process management, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication to support impactful engineering projects. A background in technical program management, especially with an emphasis on process improvement and documentation, will set you up for success here.
What You’ll Do:
Project Management & Execution
- Be the focal point for project oversight—keeping tabs on progress, delineating next steps, and anticipating hurdles.
- Clearly define timelines and workflows to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Convert complex project details into digestible updates for all stakeholders involved.
- Spot and tackle potential roadblocks before they turn into bigger issues.
Process Development & Documentation
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation to keep teams aligned.
- Implement best practices for project execution, boosting effectiveness and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine processes and elevate how we deliver projects.
Communications & Collaboration
- Provide tailored project updates to keep everyone on the same page, regardless of their role.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders, fostering shared understanding and collaboration.
- Encourage a sense of accountability across teams to meet project milestones without constant oversight.
Tool Management & Implementation
- Use project management tools like Jira or Trello to keep everyone organized and workloads visible.
- Take charge of testing new features, gathering feedback, and guiding rollouts.
- Ensure that thorough documentation and internal testing are completed ahead of any feature launches.
Your Impact:
- Deliver crucial projects that significantly contribute to our company’s growth.
- Streamline processes that empower teams to work effectively and achieve their goals.
- Increase project visibility and accountability, promoting alignment throughout the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 8 years of experience in technical program management or delivering digital products.
- Strong skills in documenting processes and creating clear playbooks.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira and Trello.
- A knack for influencing teams positively, driving progress across different groups.
- A proactive problem solver who anticipates challenges before they arise.
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
What We Offer:
We believe in taking care of our employees and offering a comprehensive package that includes competitive salaries, stock options, health benefits, unlimited paid time off, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and so much more! For this role, you can expect a total compensation range between $175,000 and $235,000 (including base salary plus bonus). Of course, actual compensation will take into consideration your unique skills and experience.
At SecurityScorecard, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. We believe that the best teams are comprised of people with varied backgrounds and perspectives, and we make hiring decisions based on merit. Our commitment to equitable hiring extends to those with criminal histories as well—we consider all qualified applicants.
