Job title: Program Manager, Scattered Site Housing Program (SSHP)
Company: CAMBA
Job description:
About Us:
At CAMBA, we believe in the power of community. Our dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and partners collaborates to create an inclusive New York City where everyone—children and adults alike—has access to the resources they need to thrive. With a comprehensive suite of over 180 integrated programs spanning Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training, Health, Housing, and Legal Services, we touch the lives of more than 73,000 individuals and families annually, including nearly 13,000 young people. From new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways, our services reach a wide array of New Yorkers. A significant portion of our clients—over half—are immigrants and refugees. In fact, more than 85% of the families we serve are facing poverty, a pressing issue affecting roughly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.
About the Scattered Site Housing Program (SSHP):
Our Scattered Site Housing Program provides 270 housing units for clients of the HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA). Of these, 67 units are set aside for families, while 203 are designated for single individuals. We focus on two main areas to support our clients: case management that helps eliminate barriers to health care and ensures access to vital services, and operations, where we maintain housing unit standards in collaboration with landlords and management companies. Our goal is to secure safe and affordable housing and provide our clients with the tools they need to succeed.
