Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll create a warm, safe, and interactive learning environment for our little learners. You will bring our unique L.E.A.P. curriculum to life, utilizing exciting characters and activities that make education enjoyable! Additionally, you will foster connections with families and collaborate with teammates to create a lively atmosphere where play and learning blend seamlessly. Communication with parents is key, so you’ll keep them updated on their child’s adventures and milestones, whether through mobile updates or face-to-face chats.
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally, you have at least one year of professional teaching experience, but we require a minimum of six months.
- You must hold a NYC Teaching Certification for Birth to 2 years.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or at least an Associate degree in ECE (or a related field) is preferred, along with a plan to obtain early childcare certification.
- You should be well-versed in developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus!
- You’ll also need to meet state-specific guidelines for this role.
