Job Overview:
Are you a passionate Android engineer with a knack for creating top-notch applications? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic Product Engineering Ad Tech SDK team at FOX Corporation. In this role, you’ll dive into the world of digital advertising, collaborating with a talented group to enhance and innovate around our Android applications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keep our Android apps running smoothly by maintaining, optimizing, and developing new features using tools like GAM/IMA, FreeWheel, and other cutting-edge ad tech libraries.
- Craft software that is modular, scalable, and efficient, ensuring it meets our users’ needs.
- Become the go-to expert on video advertising and stay updated on the latest technologies in this fast-paced industry.
- Work hand-in-hand with your teammates and other tech departments to uphold the highest coding standards and best practices.
- Seamlessly integrate third-party plug-ins and software components into our consumer-facing native applications.
- Offer support to internal teams and external vendors who rely on our platform components.
- Collaborate with various partners and attend meetings to discuss project developments.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (BS/MS).
- Proven experience as an app developer, with a solid grasp of the mobile development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with native Android application development.
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks, utility libraries, testing frameworks, build tools, and CI tools.
- Skilled in Java programming, with experience using the Android SDK and frameworks.
- A general understanding of the mobile landscape and knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Understanding of Android back-end services and design principles.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git, and comfortable with object-oriented programming libraries.
- Continuous integration experience would be a plus!
Nice to Have:
- While not a requirement, any experience with ad tech development would definitely give you an edge!

Compensation:
For this role, you can expect a salary range between $121,500.00-$165,000.00 annually in high-cost labor markets like New York City and Los Angeles, and $101,200.00-$137,500.00 in other locations across the U.S. Plus, there’s an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more!
