Your New Adventure:
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our IT infrastructure—ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll dive into maintenance and configuration, tackle IT challenges head-on, and play a critical role in research and development to stay ahead of our clients’ needs. You’ll work closely with various clients, providing even more opportunities for you to flex your technical expertise while ensuring their systems are top-notch and secure.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and implementing innovative server and cloud-based solutions.
- Offering top-tier technical support to clients, addressing any tricky issues that pop up.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance; identifying areas for improvement is key.
- Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to share knowledge and best practices.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies and trends in systems engineering.
- Applying your cybersecurity know-how to ensure robust system security.
- Assisting with disaster recovery procedures to restore IT infrastructure when needed.
- Engaging with clients on-site across the NYC metro area occasionally, though this is primarily a remote position.

- Based in the NYC area, as this hybrid role includes some client visits and engaging in-person meetings.

Core Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with MS 365
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with cloud software and scripting or programming languages
- Comfortable managing and maintaining DNS infrastructure
- Knowledge of completing VDI and MFA administration tasks
- Previous experience with NOC software, PSAs, and on-prem Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with router/switch implementation and VoIP systems
- Understanding of disaster recovery concepts
- Experience in RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management)
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, showcasing a portfolio of successfully managing complex IT projects.

In accordance with state and city salary transparency laws, this position offers a salary ranging from $75,000 to $110,000, depending on your experience.
