Your Role
In this dynamic position, you’ll lead a dedicated team focused on managing Workday Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Absence—an essential part of our HR toolkit. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Team Leadership: Guide and inspire your team to maintain and enhance Workday functionalities.
- Innovative HR Initiatives: Identify and champion HR initiatives that uplift employee experiences and streamline our processes.
- Collaboration: Team up with HR leaders and stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable requirements. You’ll conduct gap analyses and recommend impactful solutions tailored to our company.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of HR systems to design and implement effective solutions that really make a difference.
- Future-Proofing Technology: Help our teams maximize existing tech investments and explore exciting new technologies to enhance our Workday capabilities.
- Building Relationships: Foster trust and strategic partnerships within the organization, particularly with business stakeholders and our Digital Technology teams.
- Strategic Roadmap: Steer the development of our strategic technology roadmap for Workday Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Absence.
What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to meet candidates who bring the following:
- Experience: Extensive HR technology leadership experience, specifically with Workday Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Absence.
- HRIS Expertise: A solid 8+ years of hands-on Global HRIS experience (whether in management or as an analyst), with a strong focus on Workday.
- People Management: At least 4 years of successful leadership experience, especially in a virtual setting.
- Integrity: A commitment to handling confidential employee information with the utmost professionalism.
- Industry Knowledge: Insights into our industry—while not mandatory, it’s definitely a plus!
- Project Management: Skills in managing IT systems projects from conception to execution.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business models and transform them into software solutions.
- Change Management: Proven expertise in managing organizational changes effectively.
- Negotiation and Influence: Great skills to persuade and engage diverse audiences, from technical teams to finance functions.
- Attention to Detail: Important for navigating multiple tasks and delivering high-quality results.
- Technical Agility: A knack for learning new technologies quickly and guiding your team through challenges.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Collaborate well, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, capable of influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

The expected salary range for this position in New York City is between $155,800 and $230,560 per year. Of course, this can vary based on your experience, skills, location, and other factors. In addition to a competitive base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total compensation package that may include bonuses and equity options.
