About the Role:
Join us in the heart of New York City for an exciting opportunity as an Application Architect III. In this hands-on position, you’ll play a vital role in guiding the technical side of payment industry formats, such as SWIFT messaging and ACH. If you have a knack for data, a strong background in transaction monitoring systems, and a passion for driving quality improvements, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:

Technical Guidance: You’ll lead the charge in providing insights and recommendations related to payment formats and data configurations. Your expertise will help shape how we implement and optimize these systems for our clients.

Data Analysis: Dive deep into data and systems to identify any gaps in quality between payment transaction formats and the data fields in our transaction monitoring systems. Your analytical skills will be key to uncovering these insights.

Design & Execution: Collaborate with teams to create and implement modifications that enhance our transaction monitoring capabilities. Your input will be essential in planning and executing quality improvement initiatives.

Communication: Use your strong communication skills to craft clear and engaging reports—both written and verbal—that outline our findings and the improvements we aim to implement. You’ll be the storyteller of our data journey!
- Requirements Implementation: Take ownership of the documentation process, ensuring that business and technical requirements are thoroughly met as we roll out new solutions.
What You Bring:
- A solid background in IT, especially within the financial services landscape; experience in international banking would be a cherry on top!
- Familiarity with various aspects of banking and payments, including both high and low-value transactions, SWIFT, real-time payments, cheque clearing, and ACH.
- An understanding of the nuances within the payments industry formats, particularly related to transaction monitoring systems.
- Experience in business analysis and design, focusing on payment processes, monitoring, settlements, cash flow, accounting, and reconciliation can enhance your profile.
- Stellar data collection abilities, with a talent for presenting and articulating your findings clearly.
- A knack for critically evaluating information to break down complex issues and propose actionable solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to effortlessly engage with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues and answer questions.
- The ability to take initiative and work independently, managing your own projects with minimal oversight.
