Your Role:
As a Physical Therapist with ArchCare, you’ll play a vital part in the recovery and well-being of our patients. Here’s what you can expect to do:
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations for physical therapy that adhere to APTA standards and New York State regulations.
- Provide tailored physical therapy services based on physician orders to help patients regain their strength and mobility.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to craft personalized care plans, establishing both short and long-term goals with patient involvement.
- Use clinical tests to assess functional limitations and create a plan that addresses restoration and maintenance needs.
- Monitor patients’ progress and report back to physicians and nurses on any significant changes in condition.
- Work alongside our dedicated healthcare team to speed up recovery and manage residual disabilities.
- Equip patients with assistance devices, train them on usage, and ensure everything is functioning correctly.
- Get involved in performance evaluations, goal-setting, and crafting plans for continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-Time
Are You A Fit?
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone with:
- A current NYS license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- A valid Driver’s License, along with the required insurance and a car for work purposes.
Educational Background:
- An Associate Degree is essential, while a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Salary:
Competitive pay range of $118,000 to $125,000 per year.
