Our programs cater to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp offerings.
What’s the Team Like?
As a Lead Teacher, your daily interactions will include working closely with Assistant Teachers, children, parents, management, and other teaching staff. You’ll find that collaboration and communication are key aspects of our supportive culture.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
- A minimum of 90 college credits in education-related fields.
- At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
- Flexibility to thrive in challenging circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills to keep everything running smoothly.
- The ability to build solid relationships with both children and parents.
- A commitment to your own professional growth.
- Effective decision-making skills in a classroom setting.
- Compliance with all state regulations related to the position.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
- Implementing our developmentally appropriate curriculum with a gentle, understanding approach.
- Juggling the dynamic needs of infants and toddlers at various stages of their growth.
- Creating a structured and positive learning environment that fosters development.
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing space for every child.
- Being attuned to the emotions of children and the needs of their parents.
- Planning daily lessons that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with parents and fellow staff members.
- Using excellent writing skills and technology to share children’s progress with parents and colleagues.
- Setting developmentally appropriate expectations for each child.
- Most importantly, bringing creativity and passion to your work while having fun along the way!
