Position: Perioperative Patient Care Assistant
Department: Perioperative Services
Schedule: Nights (11 PM – 7 AM)
In this vital role, you’ll help maintain a safe and tidy patient environment, ensuring that supplies and equipment are always ready for use. As part of our dedicated nursing team and working under the guidance of a registered nurse, you’ll participate in various patient care activities while making sure everything aligns with our established procedures. You’ll be an integral part of our mission to provide high-quality care and support to those who need it most.
This is a full-time night position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, with a schedule that includes rotating weekends and holidays.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Experience: At least one year in a similar role—whether that’s as a Nursing Assistant, Surgical Support Attendant, or in a relevant service position
- Tech Skills: Basic computer literacy
- Communication: Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues, patients, and visitors
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Salary Range: $25.62 – $27.82/Hourly
