Your Role:
As our Lead Preschool Teacher, you’ll have the chance to:
- Mentor and guide fellow teachers in your classroom while providing hands-on support and constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child to thrive.
- Serve as a role model, encouraging children to explore and develop their own love for learning through a growth mindset.
- Implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, tailored to meet the individual needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Build strong connections with parents, sharing the joys and triumphs of their children’s daily adventures through various communication channels like mobile apps and face-to-face conversations.
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals, contributing to the success of our center.
- Create a dynamic atmosphere where learning and play seamlessly coexist, fostering warm relationships with both children and coworkers.
Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of professional teaching experience is preferred, but we require a minimum of six months.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (in progress with 90 credits or completed) is essential.
- A solid understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is a must.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred to ensure a safe environment.
- You should meet all state-specific guidelines for this role.
- NYC Teaching Certification for Birth to 2 years is preferred.
Your Schedule:
- Full-time commitment from Monday to Friday.
